ESSENCE OF YOGA.

There are two words - Yog Sadhan and bhog (indulgence) Sadhan. Yog means unification and Yog Sadhana means

The practical means to unite with the divine to indentify the self with the divine and assimilate his virtues to become like him. The goal of Yog is same for all respective caste, race, gender or faith.

But there are different types of yogs
For example Hath Yog , Raj Yog , Bhakti , Gyan Yog , Prem Yog ect.  We reach the same destination point by adopting and pursuing any of these methods but the practices of all is different.some are difficult and some are easy.

In this world there are different people having different veiws . All of them can not satisfied by one unique Sadhan (Practice) , and due to this fact , therefore the enlightened souls has suggested various practices. like for one disease there are several medicines , thus there are various methods.( We will upload  a blog on those methods plz consider subscribing )

There are 4 types of strength inside us MANN(MIND) , CHITTA INTELECT, EGOAll our worldly and heavenly actions are pre-formed with the help of these powers . Till the time these remain pure and unadulterated , we don't need any spiritual practice . But after inagression of impurities in these powers we need  to purify them again with without which we do not  become eligible for any Yog or unification .

For all these  powers we need different kinds of practices  and therefore , it becomes imperative for a guru ( master) to carry out proper assessment and advise the disciples  accordingly depending upon the disciple's Spiritual requirements . Since a disciple completes his spiritual journey.

MANN(MIND)

Our of these four mind is the first and it resides at the bottom , hence it is very powerful and extremely fickle as it receives vibrations from all these four.  If it's Tamoguni( tendencies of ignorance or inactivity ) and rajogurni ( Tendencies of passion and activity) is redeemed and be made Satugouni (Tendencies of purity) our next course become clear and remaining 3 internal sources can be easily controlled.

CHITTA

After mind , Chitta comes next to it . Mind and Chitta are so intimately coupled that when mind becomes calm , Chitta also gets restraint .

Most of the people don't understand the difference between mind and Chitta . Mind is a faculty that makes resolution and options or choices ( in relation to actions ) where chitta is the minister of soul that sends up thoughts and proposals to a being. Chitta is a root of the internal conscience tree and others i.e, mind , intellect , ego are it's branches . When Chitta is purified remaining all also gets purified .

First the nature of Chitta should be to Satoguni after removing Tamoguni and Tamoguni tendencies .
Subsequently the nature of Chitta should be raised further to the level of thoughtless state. The moment we reach to this state even for a second the Yog is materialised . That is why MAHARISHI PATANJALI stated :- " Yogshchitvritinirodh" which means Absense of virtues is "Yog".
